Meet Harley & Wyatt!

For their photo session, we chose an urban location. I love incorporating the unique architecture found in cities with dog portraiture because there are so many interesting opportunities. We met in downtown Waukesha around 5 p.m. for this session and strolled along the Riverwalk catching some great images along the way!

These two rescue dogs were a joy to work with -- such sweethearts!

Off-Leash in the City?

Of course not! The pups were on their leashes for our entire session. The magic of Photoshop means that we can get rid of leashes safely. Three cheers for Photoshop! In this photo, Harley and Wyatt's mom was hiding behind a pillar holding both leashes. Good job, Mom!

Harley is a 3-year old aussie mix who loves to play fetch, toys that squeak and getting loved on by his people. He is a social guy with lots of energy. He was a superstar for our portrait session!

Your Dog Can Do This, Too!

I hear this a lot -- "I would love professional portraits of my dog, but I'm not sure he will behave." Guess what? Your dog CAN do this! Trained or untrained, I have the experience and patience to capture great images of your dog. Even well-trained dogs can be silly during a photo session because it's a fun and exciting day for them! Drop me a line to discuss a portrait session for your dog.
